Although writing letters seems to be a lost form of communication, it is still practiced as an authentic means of correspondence on an official level. Many companies still prefer to exchange letters in many business matters, especially those that require serious considerations.

Even in everyday life outside the official realm, writing letters is regarded to be more thoughtful, affectionate and intimate than sending emails or text messages.
