The power, act or manner of speaking is known as speech. Grammar is the study of words and their functions and relationship in a sentence. Self-contained speech unit is known as a sentence. NOUN
A noun is a name. It indicates a person, place, animal or thing. A noun may also of a quality, an action or a concept.

Pronoun
The word which is used in place of a noun is called a Pronoun. It refers to a person, place or thing without naming it.

A word which merely joins together sentences or words is called Conjunction. They join together sentences and often make them more compact. Generally, a conjunction connects words, phrases or clauses.
INTERJECTION
A word of exclamation which expresses emotion but which has no grammatical relation to the rest of the sentence.

Articles
The words “a” or “an” and “the” are called Articles. A or an is called the indefinite Article because it usually leaves indefinite the person or thing spoken of. The is called Definite Article, because it normally points out some particular person or thing.
The indefinite article is used before singular countable nouns. For example, a book, a pencil, a boy, a girl, an orange, an apple, an old man etc. The definite article is used before singular countable nouns, plural countable nouns and uncountable nouns. For example, the book, the boys, the girls, the milk, the moon, the sun, the English.
